www.woltersworld.com While traveling there are some documents that are obvious to have, passport tickets etc. But before we even leave there are some document related issues every traveler should know about. 1. your passport. Make two copies of your passport, one for you to have as an extra one in case your's is lost or you want to leave your real passport in the hotel. The other copy is for your family at home in case you lose everything, then they can help yo get your new passport. 2. Airline Tickets: make sure you have all our eticket numbers written down and make sure you check your dates as many people buy tickets for one day but end up on another date. Also, print out your e-tickets and keep them all together. 2. Phone numbers: make sure you have your important numbers written down, family, credit cards, bank numbers, hotel numbers just in case you need them. 3. Print out your hotel reservations: it is good to have your hotel confirmations with you so you have the proof of booking and the price they quoted (it does not happen often, but sometimes reservations do get lost). 4. Call your bank! Let them know you will be abroad so you can use your cards while you are abroad. You will need to do that for your debit and credit cards seperately.
